The circus extravaganza “Alice in Wonderland” based on the 1865 science fiction novel by Lewis Carroll will be staged in an aesthetic adaptation by the Kyiv circus theater “Elysium”.
Modern 3D background scenes, LED screens, unique lighting effects and sound will immerse you in the amazing atmosphere of a legendary fairy tale.
• The most famous fairy tale characters will come to life on stage: the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and the main character, the brave Alice. The March Hare was in a great hurry and ran as fast as he could!
- Oh, my God, I'll be late!
He took his watch out of his waistcoat pocket and, looking at it, ran on.
Have you ever seen a Hare in a waistcoat and with a watch? The March Hare darted down the
rabbit hole, hoping to make it in time. Shall we follow him?
The clock strikes. The March Hare catches up with the Mad Hatter. They made it! The magical
ball begins, where all eyes are on Alice - a beautiful girl who dances among the guests invited
to the ball. Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare have been friends for a long time, their joy
and merriment are transmitted to all the guests.
Suddenly the ball is interrupted by the appearance of the White and Red Queens. How dare you
not invite the Queens to the ball?! The queens are terribly offended by the Mad Hatter, the
guests run away in horror. A conflict begins between the Red and White Queens for the
attention of the Mad Hatter. The Red Queen wins, and her warriors take the Mad Hatter away to
an unknown destination...
The ballroom is empty. Alice is completely confused - where have her friends gone, where to
look for them?
Magic doors appear in the ballroom. They call and attract Alice. Like a deck of playing cards, the
doors shuffle among themselves, and Alice cannot choose the right one. Confused in this
labyrinth of doors, Alice meets the first inhabitants of the fairy-tale land - the Magic Birds. The
girl watches their flight with admiration.
Suddenly, several Red Ladies appear, warning of the imminent arrival of the Red Queen. Alice
understands that she is on the right track!
- Queen! Queen!
A royal procession passes through the entire hall - the Red Queen is going to her castle on the
stage. Two soldiers are leading the captive Mad Hatter behind her. The Red Queen tries by
hook or by crook to attract the Mad Hatter's attention to her person.
The entire royal procession enters one of the magic doors. Alice also tries to climb in after them,
but the door slams right in front of her nose.
The doors start spinning again, teasing Alice and trying to confuse the path to the Mad Hatter.
But then the March Hare comes to Alice's aid. He leads Alice through the labyrinth of doors and
introduces her to the twin brothers Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
Tweedledum and Tweedledee help Alice and the March Hare find their way to the place where
the Mad Hatter is imprisoned.
Alice helps the Mad Hatter escape from the cage. But then the Red and White Queens enter the
game. They are not going to give up the famous prisoner just like that. While the Queens are
sorting things out among themselves, our heroes manage to escape.
In honor of his release, the Mad Hatter invites all his friends to a festive tea party. Fairy tale
characters Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat, the Magic Flowers, the caterpillars,
everyone is having fun and rejoicing. But... the Red and White Queens cannot leave things as
they are. They announce the beginning of the Great Battle and bring all their warriors onto the
field. The Mad Hatter and Alice are trying to stop this beating, but they are unsuccessful.
Everything is mixed up at the end of this battle, fairy tale characters and royal warriors.
Alice wakes up with a magic book in her hands. Is everything that happened to her just a
dream?
